a lot of the time when i search goo goo dolls on tumblr it’s people posting lyrics from their song iris. yes, i agree. iris is a great song. but the goo goo dolls have a lot of other great songs too, which you should check out. right now. go. if you like iris, you’ll like their other ones. please. educate yourself on the goo goo dolls. they’re amazing. don’t limit your liking to one song. that is all. goodbye.

When I was a baby,
my mom and I lived across the street from the Goo Goo Dolls, in Buffalo, NY. They weren’t famous at this point, but they practiced a lot and quite loudly. My mom would go over and ask them to turn it down because I was trying to sleep. I probably met them by the time I’d turned 2.
